Artist Kenji Yanobe opens a SHIP’S CAT pop-up in Shanghai

Japanese contemporary artist Kenji Yanobe unveiled SHIP’S CAT (Sailor) at Cofco Shanghai Changfeng Joy City Sky Park, with a SHIP’S CAT pop-up open through end-March 2019 selling limited merch and selected works. The giant helmeted stainless-steel cat mirrors the roof track and draws on female empowerment; Yanobe’s Atom Suit, Sun Child and traveling wealth-cat series blur art, humor and social hope.
