Popup Union (闪殿) is operated by SHANGHAI APU APU CULTURAL CREATIVE CO., LTD Founded in Shanghai in 2016, it is a B2B platform focused on pop-up stores, offering turnkey pop-ups, IP pop-ups and short-term venue rental — from planning and design to build-out and on-site operations. As of 2026, Popup Union has delivered 1,200+ pop-ups for 300+ brands across 50 cities in China, plus projects in Riyadh, Jeddah, Tokyo, Osaka, Paris and Cannes, with cumulative output value of RMB 200 million.
David Dong (Founder) is Founder & CEO of Popup Union (闪殿), a 2017 “New Retail TOP30 Young Leader”, and a former Wanda Group executive. He founded Popup Union in Shanghai in 2016 and introduced a shared pop-up store model.
