Google 20th Anniversary

To celebrate the company's 20th anniversary, Google built an all-new concert venue in an emerging waterfront area of Washington. The venue gave creative planners the opportunity and space to create larger, more impactful scenic moments (such as a projection-mapped corridor and a ginormous candy machine). The event's inspiration came entirely from the 1990s. Although the design was intentionally nostalgic, it was executed in a futuristic way, to respect Google's spirit while preserving the integrity of its innovative, forward-looking brand.
